It's all in the chemistry...

...I've been waiting for this day for weeks...not only is it my little princesses 11th birthday...where has the time gone!!!...but today I started a new online course hosted by Mr Tim Holtz himself :-) I can't wait to get stuck into this...

Will post pictures of my creations, ideally on a daily basis but more likely to be weekly...you know what I'm like!!!

Off to do my inky homework...dirty fingers again then :-)

Take care

Mothers Day...yeah okay!!!

So it's Mothers Day and I've just sat down...8pm!!!

I've had one of those days today where I just seemed to be busy all day, pottering, shopping, cleaning, ironing and lesson planning, all in a days work for a busy mum...

I did however get my breakfast made for me by my most gorgeous Ella...who seemed to have researched and planned my Mothers day treat, and purchased all the ingredients without asking me for any money...

That there was scrambled egg with smoked salmon, toast triangles, orange juice and a cup of Alta Rica...it was absolutely delicious too...
And I was spoilt with this little stash....

That's two bottles of Pinot, chocs, a little teddy from Mia and a Cath Kidstone iPhone case...yep my iPhone is back in fully functional order thanks to a very talented repair man and £80!!!

I had a lovely day demonstrating yesterday in Lancaster at Cardcraft UK
with the very lovely Sandra...we had a "pants" day....i think you had to be there to appreciate that but look out for an embossing folder that looks a little bit like y-fronts...you heard it here first!!!

Im off to drink some of my Mothers day Pinot...would be rude not to!!!
Take care

Orange Sunday!!!

Never mind orange Wednesday...

...I've been playing with distress inks (spiced marmalade) for an upcoming class this week and this is what my fingers currently look like...

Attractive huh...been colouring fabrics and ribbons using distress ink, which is fabulous, very effective but very messy, think I may have to invest in some gloves for my poor students this week!!!

Spent the day yesterday at Crab Apple Crafts with the very lovely Rosemary Merry, Lindsay Mason, Nigel and Debbie. Crab Apple were celebrating their birthday and I was demonstrating the gorgeous new Marianne Creatables. I bumped into Lindsay at Warrington train station and we travelled there and back together, fifteen minutes for me...love demonstrating so close to home, poor Lindsay on the other hand had been travelling for hours and saw many train stations yesterday.

I completed this little set of canvases a couple of weeks ago but have been such an appalling blogger lately that I haven't had a chance to share anything...these little works of art measure about two and a half inches square and are so sweet to work with...picked them up in a Pound shop in Liverpool...

I'm about to update my blog and add all the demos I have booked in along with workshops as I have a few of those running now, if you require any more information please email me.

Will leave you all with this picture of me and my (not so) little guy from my nieces 21st birthday party last night...

He's growing up too fast!!!

Take care
